the American Majority and its deadly chronic decease called apathy

… see article We’ve had more than enough revelations … and the American Majority has spoken, published on Intrepid Report, by Sibel Edmonds, May 30, 2014.

They say we need more revelations. I say we have had more than enough revelations on synthetic wars, atrocities, surveillance and torture. They wonder when the majority of Americans are going to speak up. And I say: The American Majority has already spoken—loud and clear.

The United States government has been engaged in the worst kind of human rights abuses, detention and torture around the globe. That’s a fact. And the American Majority knows this. The US Congress, NGOs and various human rights organizations, numerous reports, witnesses, leaks and whistleblowers, even the government propaganda outlets (aka US media) have established this as an undisputable fact: The United States has been engaged in unthinkable ongoing operations involving kidnapping, torture, black sites and detention centers, and murder all over the world. The American Majority knows this. They have spoan person guaranting them that it is not too much dangerousken: with their silence … //

… As a whistleblower and activist for a dozen years I spent much time and energy pointing a finger at entities such as the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Courts and the media. In the end I have come to identify the real culprit in all of this: The American Majority and its deafening silence and persistent indifference. I have known and worked with hundreds of government whistleblowers, who in the end came to much the same conclusion. Sure, the U.S. government can intimidate, gag, classify, prosecute, jail and torture us. But you know what? All that would be for a noble worthy cause if the people were on our side. All those prices paid would be worthwhile and justified, if only the people utilized those sacrifice-driven revelations and reports to fight against our government’s crimes against humanity and us, the people.

  • This is why I no longer expect or demand additional whistleblowers and more revelations. We do not need more revelations. We do need less apathy.
  • We do not need additional whistleblowers. We do need a vocal majority.
  • It is not the State and the one percent that is destroying our liberties, world peace and humanity. It is the silence of the American Majority and its deadly decease called pure apathy.

(my comment: yes, there is apathy, but – people no more move, if there is no guarantee that the move will not be too much dangerous for them. Socially low placed people fear even more for their survival. End of the sixties we believed we can win all, on 2014 we know how dangerous elites may react and cut our survival. Today, if any minimum guarantee is missing, there is no move. Even students may fear for their economic survival. A guarantee may come from an elite’s person, elites group, or from a strong people’s union or political party able to face any elite’s backlash. Which we have NOT, mainly in America. Since end of the sixties – so fierce having won against the Vietnam war, sleeping on our victory, meanwhile we lost most of our rights to this silent majority which is hating progressists, condems changes and votes for any tea-party movement, as they were able to tell mainstream their dictatorship of ‘good feeling, no negative thinking, be happy, remain small and modest’ … as a therapy to feel less our sorrow, make our lifes easier … you get it? – Heidi).

The Opinion-Makers: How Russia Is Winning the Propaganda War, on Spiegel Online International, by Spiegel staff, May 30, 2014 (Photo Gallery): With the help of news services like RT and Ruptly, the Kremlin is seeking to reshape the way the world thinks about Russia. And it has been highly successful: Vladimir Putin has won the propaganda war over Ukraine and the West is divided …;
(my comment: I do not agree, my opinion about westener govs’ and the NATO’s behavior was made FIRST, only THEN I looked for any RT-news! It’s because I no more believed westener’s lies I began to read RT and co.
Why do you look out for excuses instead facing reality? I mean, people’s reality, not your aristocratic dreams of a two class society you want for the 99% … meanwhile some hypocrite elites may dream to be part of the 1%

A Continent in Motion: What Conchita Wurst Tells Us About EU Identity, on Spiegel Online International, by Georg Diez, May 23, 2014 (Photo Gallery): Europe has struggled for decades to forge a common identity — and now the Continent’s response to Putin, its battle against Google and the victory of drag queen Conchita Wurst at the Eurovision Song Contest all suggest that shared values are finally emerging … //
… Or is this a tolerant Europe, one in which an Austrian drag queen can win the Eurovision Song Contest. Boundaries between countries and genders are relative, and it seems as if all the wars and killing of the last 2,500 years have led to Europeans taking a more relaxed view life and its abysses than people in other parts of the world …;
