Not only with regard to flight, migration and refugees, the current atmosphere in Europe is characterized by political and intellectual bigotry and self-imposed isolation. Instead, DiEM25 promotes the vision of a different Europe: a Europe that defends democracy, justice and human rights, a Europe that puts the needs of the people over the wishes of banks and corporations, and a Europe that is fully aware of the EU’s great historical achievement of bringing peace to a continent that had been haunted by war and destruction for centuries …;
